Born in Tokyo and based in Kyoto, Ⓛ began embroidering after falling in love with collecting vintage dresses.

A desire to represent the human face and body through thread led her to develop a unique form of expression, blending hand and machine stitching in an intuitive, free, and sensorial process.

In addition to embroidery, Ⓛ’s artistic universe also incudes photography and writing, resulting in the creation of original wearables, zines, books, exhibitions, and live experiences.
